Annual military parades for national holidays and past military victories (such as the 2015 V-Day parade shown on the right) both commemorate the chinese military and asserts the size, strength, and power of the chinese military. |
Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution
With multiple halls, the museum in Beijing showcases restored antiquated weaponry from the time People's Liberation Army up to today. Additionally, there are sculptures, maps, paintings, plaques, movies, and other artifcats in the museum. Currently, it is the only millitary museum in China and was constructed and opened in 1959 to celerbate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Visitors around the world enjoy a first-hand glimpse into the history of the Chinese military through general admission into the museum. |

Long March Shows
While soap operas (such as the video shown on the right), documentaries, and other shows on China's long march revisit and celebrate the early days of the Chinese Communist Party, they also serve as subtle propaganda to rally the Chinese youth to help assert the presence of chinese military abroad. |
